Frozen-thawed Embryo Transfer (FET)
FET can be applied to natural, stimulated or artificial cycles. If a woman has regular menstruation cycle, FET can be scheduled after ovulation is confirmed. If the woman has ovulatory problems, she may receive ovarian stimulation for ovulation induction, or use hormone replacement cycle for FET.

Embryo may be found unsuitable for transfer due to damages after the thawing process. The new advent of ultra rapid embryo freezing protocol – Vitrification, has substantially increased the survival rate of embryo to more than 90%, and the pregnancy rate of FET is now comparable to fresh embryo transfer.
